PlainlyDone PC
Privacy, plainly stated.
PlainlyDone PC is designed to do its work on your computer, without PlainlyDone advertising, telemetry, or analytics.
Last updated September 12, 2026.
What PlainlyDone Studios does not collect
- No PlainlyDone advertising.
- No PlainlyDone telemetry or analytics.
- No analytics SDK.
- No sale of personal information.
- No automatic upload of diagnostic or crash logs.
Information stored on your PC
PlainlyDone PC stores settings locally. History & Restore records, recovery information and backups, and diagnostic or crash logs are also stored locally on your PC.
These local records are not automatically sent to PlainlyDone Studios. You may choose to share relevant information when asking for support.
Windows and vendor services
Some features intentionally interact with services outside PlainlyDone Studios when you use them:
- Microsoft WinGet and configured package sources for app-update information.
- Windows Update for applicable Windows update information.
- Microsoft Store services for purchase, trial, and licensing.
- Official NVIDIA or other vendor version resources.
- Official vendor support pages that you choose to open.
Those services may handle information under their own privacy terms. PlainlyDone PC does not substitute a questionable third-party driver database for official sources.
Payments, trials, and licensing
Microsoft Store handles Store payments, trials, and licensing. PlainlyDone Studios does not store your full payment-card details.
Administrator approval
PlainlyDone does not run permanently elevated. Windows may ask for administrator approval when a user-requested operation needs access to protected locations or machine-wide records.
Your choices
You approve changes before PlainlyDone performs them. Supported changes appear in History & Restore when recovery is available. You can remove local PlainlyDone data through the product’s supported controls or Windows file-management tools.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if PlainlyDone PC’s features or service interactions change. The current version will remain available at this URL with an updated date.
